Mary Farber has been providing cutting-edge fitness instruction and
the patented Megaformer to Montgomery County since 2014.
Mary's Story
Mary Farber has taught fitness in Montgomery County for almost fifteen years. She was working full-time when she started taking Pilates Reformer classes in the evenings. She loved it so much that she pursued her training and became a certified Pilates Apparatus Instructor and an advanced Pilates mat certification. This started her fitness career.

Mary continued her love of fitness and received her Reebok and Schwinn Cycling certifications. Later when the opportunity presented itself, she began teaching Barre and received her certification in addition to her group fitness certification. Mary has taught in several gyms and Pilates studios in the area.

It was during a trip to New York that Mary tried her first class on the Megaformer machine. The next day, she couldn't roll out of bed because her abs were so sore. This is when Mary decided she wanted to learn about the workout, the method, and the Megaformer machine.

"This workout made my muscles shake and tremble in ways they never had before," recalls Mary about her first experience on the Megareformer. "I was in awe, and I knew I needed to bring this incredible workout to my clients in Maryland."

In 2014, Sculpt Studio was founded as the first Lagree Method fitness studio. Seven years later, it still is the only licensed Lagree studio in Montgomery County.
